rizer.boulder_plugin.cache#

Extra Boulder result-cache entries for rizer stages.

Boulder caches every GUI simulation under ~/.cache/boulder/<fingerprint>/ (HDF5 payload + artifacts/). This contributor (bloc-style CacheContributorPlugin) adds rizer-specific entries to the artifacts folder while the live stage networks are still in memory:

  • rizer_<stage>_extras.csv — the full plasma/electrical time series (t, T, P, T_e, n_e, V_p, V_g, R_p, radius, power terms, …): everything the Plasma/Scope panes plot, in a portable form.

  • rizer_<stage>_scalars.json — the stage KPIs (peaks, deposited energy, link values, circuit peaks).

Registered by rizer.boulder_plugin.register_plugins(); Boulder’s registry deduplicates by contributor_id.

Write artifacts into artifacts_dir.

Must not raise: failures are logged but must not abort the live solve. Prefer explicit except SomeError over broad except Exception inside implementations.

Register the contributor with Boulder’s cache registry (idempotent).
